Copy of share in New-London and Waterford Salt Works, a printed form with eagle and U.S. motto at top, State of Conn., patent New-London and Waterford Salt Works, six bushels per annum, printed below. Number of share is 236, signed by James Fennell, patentee (1804 Jan. 4), William D. Lawrence, one of the witnesses. On reverse is statement: issued to Ezekiel Fox by S. Green, one of the trustees, delivered three bushels of salt (1804 Aug. 13), signed by J. Fennell and Jna. Chapman.
